Goodbye to Flora Bar

No, this isn’t a cocktail of my own making, but it is a mini tribute to Flora Bar, one of my favorite restaurants that recently closed for good. This was taken in December 2019, in what we now affectionately call “Before Times”!

Prior to establishing itself in the neighborhood, the fine dining scene on the Upper East Side desperately needed new energy in the form of a place that not only catered to different generations, but also served great food that was actually worth the pricetag. Flora Bar not only succeeded in providing those things, but also had one of the most chic, modern dining spaces in all of Manhattan. She will be missed!
